The Digital World is what you make of it. Some might call it another dimension... others would say it's a place where all data on the internet gathers, and not a tangible world on a physical plane. Regardless, the Digital World is in peril, and its fate is left in the hands of a few chosen humans that have been taken from the modern world, only to awaken with no explanation - and only carrying only what they had with them at the time. Will this random group of strangers be able to band together to save the Digital World, or will their bonds become frail and crumble? What is the digital world, anyway? What are these strange creatures that call themselves 'Digimon' ...? ... and, perhaps more importantly: will they ever even be able to return home again?
The question is: are you a human; one of the chosen Digidestined? ... or a Digimon; a native to the world, there to help (or hinder) the progress of the newly awakened Digidestined?
Choose one or the other - or both, if you feel so inclined. Also feel free to add as much additional info as you like, this is just the bare minimum since that's what I prefer.

Each human will discover their crest as time goes on. These crests represent them, although at first the connection may not be apparent (i.e. Matt and Sora /coughs/) The list of available crests is as follows:

- A maximum of one human and one digimon per person. No duplicate Digimon. Since I don't want people to have to worry about scrambling to make a sheet before someone else takes what they want, you can reserve your crest (or digimon).. just comment here with what you'd like me to hold for you. If your sheet is not up within a week, then I'm going to open the slot back up.
- Digimon will be randomly partnered with humans via a random number generator. After everyone's signed up that wants to, I'll do a last call...and then we'll find out the results! That way everyone will have someone to interact with. If there are more digimon than human (or vice versa) don't worry! I'll make it work.
- There will be somewhat of a turn order - especially when I'm the one running this, I don't want to have to sort through a million posts to figure out where we are. XD Something like West's RP is fine where everyone goes once before moving on (though not necessarily always in the same order every round) - if you don't want to post during a round, you're welcome to make a post here on the OOC saying you pass.
- ON THAT NOTE: if you decide you want to drop the RP because of lack of interest/schedule conflicts/ETC PLEASE SAY SO. No one is going to judge you! I'd rather you tell me so we can write your character out rather than the RPing dying because we were waiting for two months for you to reply when you have no intention of actually doing so! Be courteous!
- Until your human receives their crest, their digimon will not be able to digivolve into champion form. Whether or not they bumble around in their Rookie or In-training form is up to the players of each digimon.
- If you don't know anything about digimon but want to join, then make a human! The humans in this world know nothing about the digital world, so you can learn organically with your character. C: It'll make it more realistic to RP, too!
