Ꮥilence Ꮃill Ꭱeign (Interest Check)

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if those who didn't know about the horrors going on in the central government, knew? Like how they used children to see what would be best to use on normal adult humans, or how the military just protected these creatures from things like..like Them? I did, I find myself questioning that everyday and now here we are, 2018 and still protecting monsters. It had been Four years since I had come into the military, U.S Marine, one of my most proudest achievements thus far. Things where great, I worked my ass off to go up in ranks, but, that changed back in 2015, back when they revealed to us the studies going on deep in the underground bunkers, then suddenly these creatures came from out of nowhere, it was like aliens had invaded earth. These children where our last hope for really anything, but some where as young as 4 and others as old as 17, how could children be our last hope? Where they immune to these beasts that terrorized the human race?

I used to think that supernatural beings and aliens where a silly thing to believe in, until I saw one for myself. My main purpose coming into the army was to help Keep the world a happy place for those who didn't know the horrors of war, but now? We are sole protectors to these children. We don't know here we are supposed to take them, but each army base and each beacon had given us one simple instruction, protect the subjects and bring them home. Where was home? It's been almost Four years now and we still have no clue where to take these children, but one thing is for sure, without them, the Human Race as we know it will disappear for good, and Silence will Reign.

Objective:
Journey with the remaining group of children that had survived the 2016 explosion in Pensacola Floridas army base. Travel across the country to Washington and find the perso behind this mess. By all means, keep the children alive from The Beasts.

The Beasts:
Supernatural creatures as tall as a 8 foot ladder. These beasts have one objective in mind, feed off of the children, something in their blood is what brought them here, yet, what's in their blood-mixed with the right chemicals-will be the end to these beasts. Looks and abilities range from ugly to horrid, we have yet to see one with intelligence, they react to sound and sometimes(with the more advanced ones) scent.

The children
(often called lost souls, or in kinder terms, Lost boys.)

Originating as test subjects, these children, male or female, have unique abilities to them, creatures who have to feed off of human blood to survive yet are the key source to saving the world.

The Protectors:
Men and woman who originally just Joined the army, some have known of this project going on, others are prime candidates for this specific duty, they protect the children with their lives by any means necessary. Also a food supply for the children(thankfully they don't eat to kill, just to help their hungry and leave the donors alive), though this is a last option until they run out of blood bags.
