Welcome to the Night Circus
There is a legend that if you turn on your TV on it's default Channel 5 at midnight on a Saturday, there will be a unregistered show on a scheduled down time playing. The title card, calls it the Night Circus. People who've watched say it's simple animation of a clown doing random entertainment acts. However, the legend had expanded. If you watched the show again, the more extreme the acts became. The clown doing simple acts that you would see in a circus, suddenly required audience participation. She stuffed swords down men's mouths, she pushed women off the trapeze edge and blissfully trapped children within the lion cages. Yet, all of it done with a smile. From the clown and the audience watching and participating. If you watch the show one more time, you'll find yourself within this horrid circus and you'll be offered a mask. That mask is a choice. Either you perform the acts and live or you die trying. If you live you get out, but she might bring you back as well.
She has a name too. We call her, Clownpiece.
Synopsis: So I'm planning on this being a psuedo horror type thing.
The basic premise is that all of your characters will be people who believed in this legend and took the gamble and watched the show three times. Since you watched it three times that means you became part of the show, though you have no memory how you got here it was almost like a flash. Upon entering, you were greeted by Clownpiece, who with a smile offered you a mask. That mask means that you are an audience performer, someone who perhaps maybe never done anything acrobatic or impressive and you thrust into a situation that suddenly causes you to adapt. The mask hides your identity from the other performers. (And for plot's sake we'll just say that you all live in perhaps the same city)
The show isn't constant however, it always runs every at exactly midnight on a Saturday. That means you have plenty of downtime to figure out what the hell is going on, but come Saturday, someone might die if they are unable to perform the act trusted to them.
Clownpiece gets angry when her show doesn't go right and her audience is unhappy.
So if you haven't realize from that, I'm planning on this being a kinda real life thing. Every Saturday, the circus is in town and your characters will have to perform the acts that Clownpiece gives you. This is where a dice roll comes in place. I'll have a list of acts ranging from Safe - Dangerous - Lethal and a dice roll will determine which character gets what. Your character succeeding in the act will be determined by a dice roll and their traits that you give them. I'm not limiting you guys either. You can be a gold medal Olympian if you want or a sickly, terminal, little child for all I care.
There rest of the week is for you guys to figure out who Clownpiece is and how to either stop her or convince her to allow you to leave from this circus. Perhaps you can leave clues for one another. Your memory stays intact after the show, the only thing you do not remember is how you got there.
Just a reminder for the roleplay is that Clownpiece isn't exactly malicious. She's an entertainer.
So yea I guess I'll see how this responds. I haven't posted an idea in forever, so might as well. Already get shut down a lot anyways so hey. Maybe I think this has a chance since the big stuff important stuff happens on a certain time so, it'll be easier to coordinate, but yea. So anyways, you guys can post your characters here. Nothing supernatural besides Clownpiece. It all has to be skills and traits. AKA. Athletic, Acrobatic, Flexible, perhaps you want to hinder yourself as well.

This is really cool, and I was honestly coming up with something similar since October is rolling around the corner. Yours is ten times better than mine. XD
