Long ago before the god's brought order, and the peoples of the land still warred there existed three kingdoms. The dark city of Glitterdelve, The city of light Shiledreth, and the homeland of the Azurean peoples past the Land of the Waking Dead. This is the story of how the god's came to be, and how the kingdoms came to be known as The Nevermoore's. (not a typo there are 2 O's there)

Alignment

Lawful good: we protect and hold everything we can we save the weak for nothing in return we risk life and limb to help those in need we will right all wrong we see and try to bring order and peace wherever we may go we will do what is right

Neutral good: we do what we can when we can how we can. We try to keep honor and justice wherever we can we will not hunt evil but nor will we ignore its presence.

Chaotic good: we try our best to bring good wherever we can but turmoil always follows at our heels we shall leave a mess but in it we shall leave order and light.

Lawful neutral: we shall follow the law we may not like or care for it but we shall abide by whatever rules may exist.

True neutral: we don't care about anyone or anything. My services go to the highest bidder. We are mercenaries. We do whatever we can to survive. If we are paid to kill we kill. If we are paid to save. We save.

Chaotic neutral: we prefer mischief and mayhem causing chaos and discord we will not abide by the laws you set but nor will we truly break them we walk the line and are seldom boring . We will do whatever pleases us so long as it benefits us.

Lawful Evil: we will deal with you. You will get the short end of the deal. This is not up for debate. If you can't do what we ask we will dispose of you and find one who can we will not cross our own personal boundaries but we have few and far between.

Neutral evil: we don't care how our goals are achieved so long as they are achieved we will scheme, plot, kill, and destroy whatever and whoever stands in our way we can be your greatest ally or your greatest enemy. Betray us and you had better run. Harm us and you shall fall. Deceive us and you shall find you have been deceived. We give no quarter and take what we want when we need it.

Chaotic evil: ill kill you. No reason. It just sounds fun. I'm bored. Ill go blow up a building. I'm tired. Ill kill you and sleep in your bed. Basically if I want it its mine if you have it its MINE if I have to deal with issues I won't think twice about slitting your throat blowing you up blackmailing you or general destruction

RULES:
#1: NO UNDEAD! there are very few undead I allow in anything simply because they are too restricted and a pain in the ass to deal with. If you want one ask me first certain things I will allow and certain things have backgrounds. Also NO BRONY STUFF! That is annoying as hell to try and rp with. No offense guys but it's not for this rp nor this world of mine sorry.

#2: Please try and refrain from doing a lot of instant hitting grabbing someone and throwing them works but no going "He stabbed her through the chest and walked away." Unless you are one seriously hyped up god fighting a seriously un hyped mortal there should be no reason for this.

#3: No, and I mean NO Touhou what-so-ever!

#4: Please speak to me if you want to twist storyline or if you want to interact with a character I have indisposed. Also God's and Guardians are things that will slowly be realizing their powers. If you wish to be one PM me and I will speak to you on the matter of making your character one.

#5: ALL characters must go through me. Please don't argue with me if I ask you to change something. I have no problem negotiating if you wanna pm me on it but sometimes there are simply things not allowed in my realm. I wont make you completely re-write any character unless it is completely out of the question.

#6: Everyone! (but mara) Is allowed to join my thread. If I am away one of the others will tell you as such. Just try to hold off on rp until I can okay your character. But you can make a character sheet at any time and there is a high limit to the number of characters you may posses. (ten being the maximum and no more than 4 may be god/guardian type characters)

The Shimmering Forest

Located Just outside of Glitterdelve, The Glimmering Forest is a place that spans many hundreds of miles around the thriving city. It is also home to many races including a number of different kinds of elves, garou, fey, and even spiritual creatures that are hard to come by. The forest is known for it's constant changing colors the forest is always differing from red to green to varying shades of orange and yellow.

Glitterdelve is also known as the city of refuge, a place where all are welcome and none are turned away. It is a place of darkness however. It's daylight appearance is one of a thriving and beautiful city but once night falls no resident would be caught dead outside without carrying good steel on them and knowing how to use it. The night brings out the true colors of Glitterdelve where assassins, thieves, murderers, rapists, and scum f all sorts converge to sate their dark appetites.

Shiledreth (city of light)

The city of light is gilded in gold, silver, platinum, and bronze. Built by Dwarves with Elven design Shiledreth is by far the most beautiful city in all of Freath(the realm that Nevermore exists in) It is a prosperous and bustling center of trade. (as my friend likes to call it this is the City of Hippies XD)

The Citadel of the Damned (A prison of sorts)

The citadel is a long standing remnant of an ancient kingdom turned into a prison more than a thousand years ago, it is used to house the worst of creatures and criminals and is said to be an impenetrable fortress once inside. Some of these foul creatures are so evil they are not even tolerated in Glitterdelve.

The Fields of Agony (Ruined lands of long dead civilizations)
The Wailing fields are a vast stretch of lands between the edge of the Crimson Forest and Shiledreth leading to the edge of the Chasm of Teeth. It holds ruins and ancient places that no living soul dares dwell upon. Few odd spiritual tribes wander the lands but never stay anywhere longer than a week. The fields are usually haunted by spirits old and ancient as well as twisted and long forgotten creatures.

Land of the Waking Dead

Across the Chasm of Teeth for those who make it awaits the Land of the Waking Dead. Here it is an inhospitable place where the very air itself is poisoned and only the most deadly of peoples live. Rumored to be the home of the Azureans and the nesting grounds for dragons the lands are home to many different kinds of undead and are riddled with bones of thousands of creatures.

The Cave of Dreams

Many have sought the cave and entered never too be seen again but more than one great hero has gone in and come back with power beyond the wildest dreams of mortal men.

The Chasm of Teeth

The Chasm of Teeth is a huge chasm spanning hundreds of miles and nearly ten miles across. The cliff sides are comprised of nothing but sharp jagged edges of fireglass (black and red in color) that make it appear as though it were the teeth of some great and terrible creature. To get to the Land of the Waking Dead or to reach the Azurean homeland one must first cross the chasm.

The Kingdom of the Spiders

Located at the bottom of the Chasm of Teeth the spider kingdom is covered and surrounded by dense nearly lightless jungle only those with wings or who are brave and lucky enough to survive braving the chasms jagged walls can enter.

Bloodfell (kingdom of the vampires)

Bloodfell is the domain of the vampires and their King Jack Jarlath Severing. Rumors about Bloodfell say that those who approach are always welcome though no one who has entered has ever left the city again. A coincidence? Perhaps.

Personality:
Ruled by a sense of duty, the Light seems to cling to her entire being -- perhaps the radiance comes from her altruistic and compassionate demeanor (somewhat of a rarity in these times) paired with her overwhelming innocence, purity and grace .... or.... maybe it’s just because she always walks out and about with the sun, with lips turned up into a genuine warm and welcoming smile to friend and stranger alike. Occasionally she speaks wisdom of one far beyond her years – her youth, however, can often lead to such wisdom being ignored. She is honest, loyal, and hardworking … with an absurd amount of patience.

Always a watchful eye and attentive ear are kept for those who may be in need of help, and she will not hesitate to interfere if she bears witness to some injustice. Redemption and forgiveness are beliefs held deep in her heart -- people always deserve another chance, and everyone – no matter how impossible it might seem – has good in them … everyone.

As far as less charming aspects go, she is stubborn (particularly when it comes to giving up on something), and rather naïve due to lack of experience, especially with the politics of the world and current events. She also trusts others too easily, which causes her to be an easy target for manipulation. Although it takes a great deal to bring her to anger, she does NOT handle stressful situations well at all, and can get tremendously worked up and emotional.

Biography:
It is the typical story of a young orphaned child taken in by a priestess – one originally of Shiledreth-- to a convent located in a seldom-frequented diminutive village not far from the great City of Light. She adopted the last name of the priestess, and came to think of her as a mother (she was too small anyhow to remember her biological family.) In her upbringing, she was taught properly in all things Holy and Light to be a Healer- mending wounds with magic and medicines, sensing and cleansing evil and demons, forgiveness, patience – and even the manipulation of light itself.

On the downside, it was an extremely sheltered environment to grow up in -- she was always in a safe area, and never faced anything of a great evil … nor was she trained in any sort of combat. After reaching age ten, she accompanied her mother several times on various pilgrimages and visits to other villages that were in need of clerical assistance, but she was never taken anywhere that could be potentially dangerous. Visits into the actual city of Shiledreth were few and far between, but the place always seemed so grandiose and magnificent to her as a child, and she endeavored to live there someday.

A few weeks after her last birthday, she was sent with a few of her fellow Sisters to reside in the temple in Shiledreth. The true purpose was to investigate for any truth behind the rumors of the City of Light being engulfed and tainted with perverse corruption, dark practices, and sinister shadows.

Abilities/Skills:

White/Healing Magic || Healing and purification – she has little experience with patients that are critically injured, however, and would likely not be able to successfully heal someone dying from bleeding out everywhere
Sense Evil /Demons/Undead || She is very sensitive to any sort of corruption, whether it be an actual demon (or something equally as dark), or someone who has been otherwise tainted
Holy Aura || Similar to the previous ability, but for the opposing parties -- any demon or those who have dark ties can easily see the purity of her heart by her aura. The feeling may even be undesirable towards sensitive demons
Light Manipulation || Taught only the basics – she can form small orbs of light to provide illumination
Herbalism & Medicine || Creating medicines from plants, salves, and how to bandage and provide first aid … she is a healer, after all

Weaknesses:
Physically Weak || Not strong by any means, nor fast -- all of the usual limitations and weaknesses of the human body apply
Sensitivity || Places full of darkness and corruption are overwhelming, particularly since she has little experience in such environments – they limit her magic, and often cause her to become weak and ill
Nyctophobia || The Light provides her with such comfort and strength, that being trapped anywhere in sheer, complete darkness is terrifying and debilitating to her. Simply being blindfolded can stir up the anxiety enough to cause her to panic

"Man kind is nothing but bodies filled with lies. You can't trust anyone."

Description: With sun kissed skin, a sprinkle of faint freckles bridges across her nose, fading into nothing the closer they sneak to her cheekbones. This woman stands roughly around five feet, and six inches, baring minimal clothing 80% of the time. Her attire seems to change as she travels, and takes on different cultures. Her favorite thing to wear is her wrist gauntlets, that she purchased a few years back. They hold some sort of sentimental meaning to her, but she wont disclose what. Her eyes, a rusty honey shade, glowing a pretty gold in the suns light.

Thick wavy strands of hair hang from her skull, colored in a deep rich chocolate tone with tints of red spotting around. Tendrils of thick strands in front of her ears drape past her breast bone and to her midsection, while the back of her hair is significantly shorter. Reaching just barely to her shoulders. She has a few nicks and scars from her earlier life, but nothing too outlandish and noticeable. She bares a tattoo like marking on her left shoulder, marked by her tribes people.

Race: Halfling (half elf, Half...)

Bio: Growing up, they way of her brethren was all she knew. She resided with in a small tribe formed up of elves. They were nothing special, and had no real reason to live outside and away from the others. But they did. Some claimed it was a better way to branch out their people, and spread them across the world. Others simply stated it was to form their own kingdom. Natalia's tribe withheld non magic users. Whether the people could use magic or not, it was not allowed and showed hostility against the 'gods'. Only the gods were allowed to hold such power, and anyone who possessed it, was cursed, or was seen as a threat to their gods. With silly, but strict beliefs, her people held onto this mindful thinking for many decades. Travelers were welcomed, but soon turned away, if any signs of magic was shown. Thankfully, no elves seemed to possess or nurture any magical abilities since forming the small clan, and her people lived in peace.

That is, until Natalia was born. At first, her mother and father had hoped it would die out. Showing strong gifts as a young child, she was hidden from the others. Her parents feared she would be driven out, or worse, they would be. But the young girl, with a curious mind, had no intention of stopping. She found her abilities to be inspiring and magical. At the age of ten, her abilities became known to the others, and quickly she was banished. Branded with the marking of a cursed child. Her mother and father, both delicate and thoughtful people were given the option of staying with in the tribe, but having their status rank lowered, or to become exiled with their daughter. Both having no idea what would be in store for them in the outside world, chose to abandon their daughter in secrecy.

So, the next nightfall, her mother and father led the little girl out, and into unfamiliar lands. Natalia vaguely remembers her mothers soft whispers, and her fathers relaxed words. Both telling her that everything would be alright, and that they would stay together. Somewhere along the way, she had fallen asleep on her fathers back as they traveled. When the girl came to, her mother and father were no where in sight, and she was silently drifting down wide spread river on a make shift raft. She had been abandoned.

Many years later, having survived out on her own, and wandering to different places, she met a human man. He soon caught her heart, and the two were to even be wed. But unfaithfulness seemed to plague him, and it was called off. She left, and hasn't seen the man since, but has heard that he married and has two kids. She holds no grudges, but no happy regards either.

Now, she wanders aimlessly. Living on what she can, and learning about different cultures, and honing her abilities. A fisherman she stumbled upon one day dubbed her The Wanderer, and passed this name around to his fellow friends. Now, on occasion, she is asked if she is 'The Wanderer', and her origins.

Sexuality: Asexual - Pansexual

Personality: As a small child, while within the her old tribe, she was a carefree, spirited girl, and always full of laughs and smiles. But after her mother and fathers betrayal, as well as having her teen heart shattered, she closed herself up to others. Most of the time she will speak to someone in an expressionless mono tone voice unless feeling strongly or enthusiastic about something. She has a strong yearning for knowledge, and loves to learn new things. Sometimes she can display a bit of possessiveness, and even seem motherly when it comes to certain people. More specifically those who are younger, or appear younger. Little by little her traveling companions have stripped her from her shell and she has shown more and more of not only herself but her emotions.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Abilities/powers: Since she was young, she has had the ability to manipulate plant life with in her sight. A wilting flower, can be fully restored to its former glory with in seconds. The grown of vines that dangle from trees can stretch and bend at her will. The length of grass that sways beneath her feet will grow or shrink. Though gifted, she tends to leave nature alone, unless otherwise.

After exploring different cultures, she has developed the ability to paint, thanks to many teachings, and has developed a unique style. Mixing different techniques into one. Where ever she goes, she leaves a trail of paintings. Whether on rock faces, trees, or walls. Sometimes she will even manipulate the grass to form something and let it grow out like that. Because of this, her title among the people have shifted into something along the lines of 'The wandering painter'.

Recently she found that she can temper with the wind and air, but cant control it. After accidentally causing a small twister near a village, and having no power over it, she decided it was best not to mess with the air flow, unless utterly alone and isolated.

Weaknesses: Her ability to show or hide the right emotions. Impaired by social interactions, and extremely anti social, she finds it hard to show any feelings or emotions. She also has little to no confidence in herself, or most of man kind. Seeing almost all life as nothing but liars, as she has been tricked countless times through out her life. She no longer has trust.

Her ability to wield any type of weapon, be it a sword, dagger, or anything more. Having no training, she knows nothing about combat or how to handle a situation if given one. The best she can do is grab a stick and swing it haphazardly, and maybe, if she's lucky, scratch her opponent. Because of this is is really reliant on her power to control plant life around her.

Reading and writing. She only knows the basics Since she's been living out on her own, mainly in forests or anywhere to get out of the rain, no ones been there to teach her. Of course, she's learned little here and there throughout her travels, but never enough, and never enough to satisfy her.

Biography:
Masato was the only son of a certain tyrannical king of a certain small country. The king over-taxed, over enforced, and over worked his citizens, and as such a rebellion took place. Masato was only 13. He had no knowledge of what was happening when the bright yellow of a thousand torches shone outside his window one night. He had no knowledge of why the guards took his hand and rushed him underground to hide. And he definitely had no knowledge of why an angry group of people killed the guard, and shoved a bag over his head. And he went unconscious due to a blow to the head.

When he had awoken, Masato heard the ocean. They were by the cliffside, and the mob was cheering. He had the bag overleaf his head. Something was chained to his ankle...the thing was pushed over the edge, and he went flying. Down down down down. Until the cold darkness engulfed him.

He awoke once more. Finding himself in a warm bed, and near a roaring fire. Somebody was talking. But Masato couldn't hear over the rush of the waves. Were they by the sea? He looked up, and saw an old man, smiling. He had a long, fluffy beard and smiled "Hah! Ya woke.up?" The man was a hermit, who built guns. Years passed, Masato trained with the hermit and eventually the hermit died of age. Masato, now 18 years helped him to some parts, made a few guns, and set out with them. *Breech-Loaded Rifle: Used for sniping and ranged attacks. Usually strapped across his back. Reloads at back of barrel via hinged joint

*Bayonet Knife: Used for CQC, usually mounted on Rifle, has an unmounted version in a weapon holster just in case.

-Snipe: Causes critical damage to a single enemy or object. Only usable with Rifle
-Grapeshot: Fires a small spread of Pellets, only Usable with Rifle or any musket-type firearm.
-Quickdraw: Quickly draws pistol, fires, reloads, and reholsters.
-Incendiary shot: Shot filled with oil, ignites upon impact, can be used to trigger explosives or set aflame to enemies
-Explosive shot: Shot filled with explosives, can be used to trigger gunpowder or deal explosive damage
-Snapshot: Speedy 2-part shot. Shoots one enemy, and shoots another in a different direction.
-Magical Infusion: Can infuse bullets with differing elemental magics. Takes time to infuse.

Legends speak of a paradise where gold is abundant, and Gin flows like water
Chi lived in this "paradise" it was an alchemist's village. The last one located in the mountains. Due to Gold being a fine conductor for arcane and scientific purposes, it was everywhere in his village. Unfortunately, when he was 12, his village was raided, leaving Chi the last one alive. All book were burned, and knowledge lost...he tinkered with what was left to create his Alchemical Gauntlets. Years passed and nowadays he wanders the land to continue what was left of his people's research.

A slender, tall figure. He is a tad taller then average, and lighter then most. He wears light clothing, padded with wool on the inside for warmth.

Abilities/powers:
-Basic CQC:
    Taught in the ways of unarmed combat. Chi uses his fists and gauntlets for battle
-Above Average Stamina and Speed:
    Light load-out
-Appraise:
    Due to years of study and research, Chi is able to identify most reagents needed for potions. He can also spot items of value and of magical or special origin.
-Research:
    Chi is able to use what he has gathered to create new potions of differing affects or he can also improve his gauntlet. It usually takes a while.
-Alchemical Gauntlets:
    These special gauntlets create potions for Chi to use. It can also load existing potions or other liquids. When loaded, they can be shot out in a vial or as a fluid. It needs to be wound up every now and then, and he needs to reload after spending his ammunition.
-Magical Infusion:
    By tapping into his mana pool, Chi can supercharge a potion to have it's effect increased a thousand fold, often this can only be done once or twice a battle. this will leave Chi exhausted and aching.
-Potion Buffs:
    Chi can drink potions to empower or heal himself. He can replenish his mana as well! These potions can be drunk by anyone.
